Published Shorts

Strangely, all is quiet on Cannery Road as a crystal glass filled with kibble becomes heavy in Sam’s hand and on her heart. A silver lining appears.

A fat, old lady spins.

Two cookies disappear in a pocket.

The neighborhood cheers Sam on in her feline quest.

From up in the sky, a bushy tail falls. A tail from what? Where does it land?

Carrie sits in solitary confinement. She grapples with life as a child and wanting, needing to be an adult. Uncertainties haunt her.

A knock precedes a familiar voice.

Slowly but steadily, she reenters the big, bad world. Will her innocence prevail? Or, will her beastly instincts emerge?
